Important windows Keyboard shortcuts to work easy and faster- Using your keyboard exclusively and leaving your mouse behind will make you much more efficient at performing any task on any windows system. Experts say that if you use key board short cuts will effect your efficiency and may increase your work speed up to 20 per cent. So why not to use short cuts. I use the following keyboard shortcuts every day

1.                   Windows key+R =        Run menu

That menu can be use for several commands that are –

A.                  cmd = Command Prompt

B.                  iexplore+“web address” = Internet Explorer

C.                  compmgmt.msc =  Computer Management

D.                  dhcpmgmt.msc = DHCP Management

E.                   dnsmgmt.msc = DNS Management

F.                   services.msc = Services

G.                 eventvwr = Event Viewer

H.                  dsa.msc = Active Directory Sites and Services

I.                    msinfo32 = System information

J.                    cleanmgr = Disk Cleanup

K.                  ntbackup = Backup or Restore Wizard ( Windows Backup Utility)

L.                   mmc =Microsoft Management Console

M.                excel = Microsoft Excel ( if installed )

3.                   ALT + Tab = Switch between windows

4.                   CTRL + Shift + Esc = Task Manager

5.                   Windows key + F = Search

6.                   Windows key + D = Hide/Display all windows

7.                   CTRL + C = Copy

8.                   CTRL + X = Cut

9.                   CTRL + V = Paste

10.               Right click key (Key between windows key and CTRL key on right side) = For right click without mouse

11.               ALT + Esc = Switch between running applications

12.               ALT + letter = Select menu item by underlined letter

13.               CTRL +Esc = Open program menu

14.               CTRL + F4 = Close active document ( does not work with some applications)

15.               ALT +F4 = Quit active application or close current window

16.               ALT + Space = Open control menu for open window or document

17.               F1 = Open help for active application

18.               Windows key + M = Minimize all open windows

19.               Shift + Windows key + M = Undo all minimize window

20.               Windows key + F1 = Open windows help

21.               Windows key + Tab = Cycle through the taskbar buttons

22.               Right Shift for Eight second = Switch filter keys on and off

23.               Left ALT + Left Shift + Print Screen = Switch high Contrast on and off

24.               Left ALT + Left Shift + Num Lock = Switch Mouse key on and off (Control your mouse by numeric keypad)

25.               Five time SHIFT Key = Stickykeys on and off

26.               Num Lock for five second = Switch Togglekey on and off

27.               End = display the bottom of active window

28.               Home = Display the top of active window

29.               Windows key + Break ( Key in the right side top corner) = Open System Menu

30.               CTRL + Shift + N = New folder
