How to run Google Chrome browse faster in slow computers

Those having a high speed internet/broad band internet connections will not face the problem of slow site loading but those having a low speed internet connection will definitely face this problem. Whenever you click a website it displays all images and images consume more data hence take more time to open. If you prevent the opening of images on the sites to download, the speed of opening the website will almost double. All other browsers need some third party app/extension for this purpose but in Google Chrome you can do it by simple settings. The simple settings for this purpose are explatned below -

Open your Google Chrome browser.
Click ‘Menu’ button(The wrench Icon in top right hand corner)

Now the following screen will appear –

Now click ‘Setting’, the next screen will appear as displayed in the image below.

In the next screen scroll down to extreme bottom. Find ‘Show advanced settings’ and click on it. Now the following screen will appear.

In the above screen find ‘content setting’ under ‘Privacy’ head and click it. Now the following screen will appear.

Here you will find ‘Show all images (Recommended)’  option selected by default. Now you have to deselect it and select the option ‘Do not show any images’ and click ‘Done’.
If you think that you must avoid this to apply to some of the sites, an option is available there. You have to click ‘Manage exceptions..’. Now the following screen will appear.

To add exception options for some websites write the URL of the website in the box under ‘’Hostname pattern’ and select your option under ‘Behavior’. Now the next box will appear. Fill your sites one by one and when done click ‘Done’.
You can change this setting at any time. To revert the setting simply select ‘Show all images (Recommended)’  and deselect the option ‘Do not show any images’
